On new terminal - "groups: cannot find name for group ID ..."

When I open a new terminal in a session, I see these messages:

groups: cannot find name for group ID 3024
groups: cannot find name for group ID 3292

This isn’t new as of today, but the first I remember seeing it was Friday 18th September (the Villanova workshop).

@ningj2413 @asawyers - is this todo with the ldap problems you mentioned at the sprint? If so I can close this issue.

Is this in dev or prod? We are working through issues with ldap/uid and or gid lookup; but if this is in prod we can provide a bandaid…

Also something to know - is this causing any issue besides that message?

This is in prod - it isn’t actually causing/a symptom of any problem behaviors that I’ve come across though.

The cause of these messages is known, and it shouldn’t cause any real problems - it will be fixed in a future update to the platform, so we can close this post.
