I found a critical bug in pySAS v2.4.3 (the current version in the sas environment). I have put out a patch to fix the problem with v2.4.4.
If we could get that updated as soon as possible that would be great. Sorry to find this bug so close to AAS and the workshop.
Until it gets fixed, users will have to run this in a Jupyter Notebook:
! pip install xmmpysas --upgrade

Thanks @rjtanner for the report. Since the SAS environment is not going to be used during the workshop, the latest version of pysas will be added with the next software environment release planned after the workshop.
The current version of pySAS (v2.4.4) is now in the SAS environment.
